The Wish Sonnet

the only wish for this short life of mine
is that all your wishes would all come true
be in a table with candle and wine
to be with someone who really loves you
but everything around me is the same
I always end waking up in the rain
they always say things like no pain, no gain
but doing it leaves me to hung in shame
I wish that I had a different name
cause I’m destined to be thrown in the flame
I can’t resist thinking of things like these
cause it can give me some kind of an ease
but maybe it would take only one kiss
for the lonely old man here’s only wish

Understanding that I'm really shy
Deep in my heart thare is a smile
Really this love of mine is worthwhile
Ever faithful to you and true
Yet, who is she, is it really you?
Dearer to her than I think

The Flower Sonnet

all roses, I mean the best ones, are red
violets, however which way, are blue
but when I see a beautiful flower
there’s no way I couldn’t remember you
you are very sweet, as sweet as honey

at times when alone I usually think
that you’re a blessing, a gift from above
no mere, exact, truly definite word
can express how I really really feel
but one thing is for sure about these things

that so beautiful gold
I always want to hold
I see you shining and glittering
and feel the love you're bringing

to that gold I can see
the beauty beyond the sea

I want the gold in my heart

I can't see my way
and I stumble in the dark
Today is a good day

The Rain and The Wind

My love for you is like the rain
The rain came and went away
Your eyes are just very plain
Because it's again a sunny day
Always bringing my umbrella
Laughing to myself ha, ha, ha!

Let's wait for the rain to stop

the cure to this dying old man

at pagtingin lagi sa larawan mo
ako'y laging sunod-sunuran sa utos mo
kahit lahat ng ito'y di ko gusto

ako nga ba ay maepal at garapal?
o kaya nama'y isang hangal?
nais kong itapon ang iyong larawan
kahit na ang yong kagandaha'y pinag-aagawan
ngunit kapag ako ay lalapit
sana ay huwag kang magagalit
sa pagpapakapal ng aking mukha
ang oras ko'y sa iyo naaaksaya
